The Luminox SEA series is the brand's range of dive and water sports watches. It's built around the Navy SEAL, the watch that made Luminox's name, and today covers everything from lightweight everyday divers to Swiss automatics. Most models feature a one-way rotating bezel for timing a dive, a screw-down crown to keep water out, and water resistance of 100 or 200 metres.
Why tritium matters underwater
Light fades fast as you descend, and it's gone completely on a night dive. Most dive watches rely on luminous paint, which has to be charged by light first and dims within hours. Every Luminox SEA watch uses tiny gas-filled tritium tubes instead. They glow on their own, constantly, for up to 25 years. You can read your elapsed dive time at depth, in murky water or at night, without shining a torch on your wrist.

CARBONOX™ or steel?
CARBONOX™ is Luminox's carbon-based case material. It is extremely light and strong, so you'll barely notice it on a long dive. Stainless steel is heavier, more polished and feels more substantial. If you'll mostly wear your watch in the water, go light. If it needs to move between the beach and the office, steel is the more versatile choice.
